Prepare Thee to Fly Necklace with Sterling
With this necklace I share a dear childhood memory. When I was a little girl, my mom caught a Monarch Butterfly Caterpillar and place it in a jar with a sprig of Milkweed. After a short time it turned into this amazing green Chrysalis with what looks like a stitch of real gold! I so vividly remember the glorious transformation of this petite creature into yet another amazing creature...the beautiful Monarch Butterfly! I handcrafted this little amulet from Polymer Art Clay on a distressed Sterling stem; painted with the truest shade of green I could mix and detailed them with black and gold accents.
